Carl and Marilyn Thoreson Engineering Scholarship

The Carl and Marilyn Thoreson Engineering Scholarship is awarded to students who are majoring in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering and have completed at a minimum their second year of the curriculum. This scholarship recognizes academic achievement and leadership in engineering education. Recipients must have a minimum GPA of 2.8 with preference given to applicants with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Additional preference will be given to students who are residents of North Dakota, have demonstrated leadership abilities through volunteer service or activity with student organizations, or are active members of the NDSU ROTC program. The scholarship is administered through North Dakota State University's College of Engineering and supports students pursuing careers in agricultural and biosystems engineering.
