Carl N. Sexton Memorial Scholarship

The Carl N. Sexton Memorial Scholarship is awarded to full-time students majoring in a degree program housed in the Department of Public Health (formerly Department of Health Promotion) at Eastern Illinois University. Preference is given to students pursuing teacher licensure who have met the minimum academic requirements to qualify for student teaching. Financial need is considered, but only if all other criteria are deemed equal. The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for the award again provided they continue to meet the criteria. This award is announced in the Spring and paid in the Spring semester.
