Carla Try Memorial Elementary Education Scholarship

The Carla Try Memorial Elementary Education Scholarship is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the final year of studies in Elementary Education. Selection is based on academic standing and a commitment to the education of elementary level students, as demonstrated by community involvement or volunteer activity. This scholarship was endowed by the Faculty of Education and the family and friends of Carla Try, who posthumously achieved her Bachelor of Education degree in Elementary Education. Carla's commitment to children and their education will be forever recognized through this scholarship in memory of Carla Try (1979-2001).
