About this opportunity
The Carlyle Greenwell Postgraduate Fieldwork Scholarship provides financial assistance to students undertaking research in Anthropology to conduct fieldwork. The scholarship is funded by The Carlyle Greenwell Research Fund for students in Anthropology from a bequest by Carlyle Greenwell. The scholarship supports students enrolled in honours, Master of Arts (Research), Master of Philosophy, or PhD degrees in Anthropology at the University of Sydney. The value of each scholarship is determined by a selection committee and can reach a maximum of $20,000. Previous recipients may be eligible to re-apply when the previous scholarship ends, provided the total amount awarded for any one project is less than the maximum value. Recipients must maintain receipts for up to one year for all costs incurred and are required to take out travel insurance if applicable.
