Carmel Dufoe Award for Excellence in Communication

The Carmel Dufoe Award for Excellence in Communication was established in 2012 and is supported by VetStrategy Inc. This award is available to full-time students enrolled in the Veterinary Technology program at Lakeland College. The award recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional communication skills and empathy in their interactions with clients. Recipients must display empathy in client interactions, demonstrate positive client communication skills during opportunities with the community, and maintain good academic standing. This award supports students pursuing education in veterinary technology and related agricultural sciences.
