About this opportunity
The Carmen C. (Diaz) Pinto Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide a multi-year scholarship to graduates of Burgettstown High School. This scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Recipients can use the award to attend 2-or 4-year colleges, universities, or accredited vocational or technical trade schools anywhere in the United States. Preference is given to students maintaining excellent attendance and who have exhibited scholarship, leadership, school spirit, and community pride through participation in activities that highlight these characteristics. The scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years, contingent upon recipients maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.5 while enrolled in their program.
