About This Opportunity
The Carnegie Trust Vacation Scholarships are open to Scottish-domiciled undergraduates from low-income households in the penultimate year of their degree. The scholarship offers the chance to undertake a funded self-led research project across the summer. The scholarship provides an opportunity to boost research skills, gain unique experience, and will be of special interest for those looking to progress to a postgraduate degree. Applications are welcomed from students who are from a low-income household, with applications particularly encouraged from students classed as mature, care-experienced or both. The stipend is based on the Scottish Living Wage for a 35-hour week, and summer projects run for between four to twelve weeks.
