Carol M. Newman Scholarship

Funded by the German Club Alumni Foundation, through Virginia Tech, the Carol M. Newman Scholarship is a one-time scholarship awarded to rising juniors who exhibit leadership and service at the collegiate level, while also maintaining high standards of academic achievement. Recipients must maintain full time enrollment at Virginia Tech. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate commitment to service and community involvement while excelling academically. Applicants must provide evidence of their leadership activities, honors and awards, and service contributions at the college level. A letter of recommendation from someone at the collegiate level familiar with the applicant's leadership activities is required for the application process.
