Carol Specht Memorial Scholarship

The Carol Specht Memorial Scholarship supports undergraduate single mothers living with their children who are pursuing helping careers at Eastern Illinois University. The scholarship is designed to assist female students who are enrolled in programs such as counseling, teaching, or social work. Recipients must be single-parent undergraduate women with at least one child currently living with them and must be pursuing one of the helping careers at EIU. Financial need is a key consideration in the selection process. The scholarship is announced in the Spring semester and paid in the following Fall semester.
