About This Opportunity

The Caru Aber (Love Aber) International Award is a tuition fee discount program offered by Aberystwyth University to support international students who previously studied at the university as associate students. The award provides a £1,000 tuition fee discount for every year of study to international fee-paying students who spent time at Aberystwyth through Exchange programmes, Study Year Abroad programmes (either one or two semesters), or Summer Schools. The university designed this award alongside the AberGrad Award to support students who wish to continue their education at Aberystwyth. While the AberGrad Award targets students who completed a full degree at the university, the Caru Aber International Award specifically recognizes and rewards international students who had a positive experience during their associate student period and want to return for a full degree program. To be eligible, applicants must submit their degree application directly to the university without using education agents, be classified as international fee-payers, and have previously completed a period of study at Aberystwyth through one of the qualifying programs. The award can be combined with the International Accommodation Award but cannot be combined with most other awards or existing partnership tuition fee discounts. Students with full external sponsorship are not eligible, though those receiving educational loans may still apply.
