Cashmere Schools Foundation Renewal Scholarship

The Cashmere Schools Foundation Renewal Scholarship is offered through the Community Foundation of North Central Washington. The Cashmere Schools Foundation began awarding scholarships to graduating seniors of Cashmere High School in 2000. The mission of the Cashmere Schools Foundation is to provide scholarships and other post-secondary support to graduates and strengthen the capacity of the Cashmere School District to provide a quality education for all students. This scholarship is specifically designed for students planning to enroll or currently enrolled in the nursing program at Wenatchee Valley College. Applicants must be graduating seniors from a Chelan or Douglas county high school or current Wenatchee Valley College students. The scholarship requires a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and demonstrated leadership through community service and extracurricular activities. Financial need is a consideration for this award. Renewal is possible for recipients after acceptance into the nursing program, though students must reapply and compete with new applicants each year.
