Catherine A. Smith Piano Scholarship

The Catherine A. Smith Piano Scholarship is awarded to full-time incoming freshman or transfer students majoring in Music at Eastern Illinois University who exhibit talent in piano performance. Recipients must maintain a minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0 in music classes. Financial need may be a consideration in the selection process. The scholarship is renewable, allowing recipients to apply again provided they continue to meet the eligibility criteria. The award is announced in the Spring semester and paid in the Fall semester.
