Catherine and Austin Mardon, CM Schizophrenia Award

The Catherine and Austin Mardon, CM Schizophrenia Award is an endowed scholarship awarded to undergraduate students at the University of Alberta who have been diagnosed with schizophrenia. The award is available to students with satisfactory academic standing entering any year of an undergraduate degree program. Selection is based on academic standing. If no eligible candidate with schizophrenia is found, the award may be given to a child or sibling of someone with schizophrenia. The scholarship is funded through an endowment by Janssen Inc, and Friends and Associates of Dr Austin Mardon, reflecting a commitment to supporting students affected by mental health conditions in pursuing their educational goals.
