Catherine M. Newman Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was created to honor the memory of Catherine (Cathy) Marie Newman with the objective of helping scholars who have demonstrated a passion for learning, hard work, and giving back to the community, but who may also need financial assistance to bring the dream of a college degree to fruition. The scholarship supports students pursuing four-year undergraduate degrees in STEM or Journalism fields. The scholarship is need-based and requires applicants to maintain a GPA greater than 2.99. This opportunity is available to students in the Phoenix area and is administered through the Arizona Community Foundation's general scholarship application process.
