Cathy Faoro Memorial Scholarship

The Cathy Faoro Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship opportunity for rising junior or senior students in the Pamplin College of Business (PCOB) at Virginia Tech. The scholarship seeks to recognize students who have demonstrated the value of learning and an appreciation of the arts, an exuberance for life and its adventures, a commitment to community and concern for others, reverence for spiritual, moral and family values, and perseverance to achieve high personal and academic goals, despite significant obstacles. This award honors the memory of Cathy Faoro and supports students who embody these values. The scholarship application requires students to document how they exemplify these characteristics, provide information about their anticipated graduation date, submit a resume, and detail their financial circumstances including the percentage of tuition and living expenses they personally cover and work commitments during the school year. Recipients must agree to have their names released to the Pamplin College of Business administration, donors, and for use in college communications and social media platforms.
