About This Opportunity

The Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation (CCKF) offers Scholar Grants to professors and postdoctoral fellows for sabbatical leave or dedicated time off for research and writing. The grant ranges from $20,000 to $35,000, designed to replace half of the recipient's salary during a one-year period. The Foundation provides support for research on Chinese Studies in the humanities and social sciences. Priority is given to collaborative projects involving institutions in Taiwan, and projects on Taiwan Studies are especially encouraged. When combined with grants from other sources, the total funding must not exceed the recipient's annual salary. Recipients must have their grants managed through their institutional accounts, and the Foundation requires institutional endorsement letters confirming compliance with these procedures.
