About This Opportunity
Celiakifonden annually distributes research funding to increase knowledge about coeliac disease. The fund supports research conducted in Sweden at universities/colleges or within healthcare. Research may concern the disease's emergence, treatment, complications or other consequences, as well as how it can be prevented, or how society can better provide support to people with coeliac disease. This year, applications concerning coeliac disease and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) are particularly welcomed, as this research area needs more focus. Applications are reviewed based on scientific criteria by the association's scientific council and external international experts. Granted funds can be used over a period of three years, though grants are awarded for one-year research periods. Between 200,000 and 400,000 SEK have been distributed annually in recent years to important coeliac disease research.
