Cenovus Energy Student Award

The Cenovus Energy Student Award supports outstanding students enrolled in technical programs at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. This award recognizes academic excellence with a minimum 80% GPA requirement, while also valuing leadership qualities and community engagement. Eligible students must be in their first or second year of Chemical Technology, Instrumentation Engineering Technology, or Power Engineering Technology programs. The award evaluates candidates based on both financial need (50% weighting) and academic achievement (50% weighting). Four awards of $5,000 each are available annually, with preference given to students who graduated from high schools in the Lloydminster area. Applicants must demonstrate alignment with Cenovus Energy Inc's core values through a written statement that also highlights their leadership experience and community involvement.
