Centennial Athletic Leadership Award

The Centennial Athletic Leadership Award was established in 2014 with funds from the Centennial Athletic Endowment, part of Lakeland College's Centennial Campaign. This award is available to full-time students enrolled in any program on the Lloydminster and Vermilion campuses who are also team members of an ACAC sanctioned sport. The award recognizes student athletes who demonstrate exceptional qualities both on and off the field. Four awards are granted annually, two to female athletes and two to male athletes. Recipients are selected based on demonstrated volunteerism, exemplary leadership and role modeling, demonstrated team leadership, and maintaining satisfactory academic standing. The award amount varies and supports students who exemplify the values of athletic excellence combined with community engagement and leadership.
