Centennial Environmental Sciences Achievement Award

Established in 2014 with funds from the Centennial Environmental Sciences Endowment as part of Lakeland College's Centennial Campaign, this award supports students pursuing environmental sciences education at Lakeland College. The award is available to students enrolled full-time in an Environmental Sciences certificate, the 2nd year of an Environmental Sciences diploma (any major), and 3rd year of the Bachelor of Applied Science: Environmental Management (BASEM). One award is granted to a student in each program level, recognizing students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership and involvement in the classroom, as well as willingness to volunteer and participate in group assignments and projects. The award amount varies and is designed to support continuing students who exemplify excellence in environmental sciences education.
