Centennial Spirit of Perseverance Award

Established in 2014 as part of Lakeland College's Centennial Campaign, the Centennial Spirit of Perseverance Award is available to full-time students enrolled in their final year of study at Lakeland College. This includes students in one-year certificate programs, the second year of diploma programs, University Transfer programs, as well as the third year of degree or applied degree programs. The award recognizes students who demonstrate the ability to overcome personal hardship to attain their academic goals and continue to persist and succeed despite obstacles such as physical, emotional, or social challenges. One award is presented at each campus to a student who maintains satisfactory academic standing while demonstrating exceptional perseverance in their educational journey.
