About This Opportunity
The Certis Belchim MSc Scholarship, valued at up to £2,500, may be awarded to up to two full-time students at Harper Adams University who are studying for a MSc in one of the following subject areas: MSc in Integrated Pest, Weed & Disease Management, MSc Entomology, MSc Plant Pathology, or MSc Agroecology. The scholarship supports students who will be completing research that is of direct interest to Certis Belchim, a company that provides reliable and profitable crop protection strategies through innovative products and expertise in IPM development and implementation. During this project, the student will have the opportunity to work on a literature review of allelopathic herbicidal compounds or screening of new bio-insecticide(s) on several species of aphids. The scholarship is payable in two equal parts, with half paid in February 2024 and the balance in May 2024, conditional on the scholar remaining registered as a full-time student and passing all modules of study. Applicants must not be in receipt of any other sponsorship or scholarship which would state a conflict of interest. Payment is conditional on the student submitting at least one letter reporting on progress to the Development Trust prior to receipt of their second payment.
