About this opportunity

The Gravitational Wave and Space Instrumentation Honours scholarship is available to students who wish to pursue the Honours specialisation in Physics or Astronomy and Astrophysics and undertake an Honours research project in the area of Gravitational Waves and Space Instrumentation and Applied Metrology. This scholarship provides financial support to outstanding domestic students with a Distinction average or above who are pursuing Honours level study at the Research School of Physics at The Australian National University. The scholarship supports research in the specialized field of Gravitational Wave and Space Instrumentation and Applied Metrology. Up to 10 scholarships are awarded annually with a stipend of $10,000 per annum, paid over one year in semester installments. Applications are accepted twice per year for Semester 1 and Semester 2 commencements.
