Chadacre Agricultural Trust Grants

The Chadacre Agricultural Trust advances the education of the public in all aspects of agriculture and farming by providing grants for training and research. The Trust awards grants to students of agriculture and allied subjects, with priority given to those studying practical training courses which prepare them for employment on farms. The Trust may also award grants to enable farmers and others within agriculture to acquire relevant new skills. Additionally, the Trust is empowered to grant-aid the education of the general public about the true nature of agriculture and how it can co-exist with nature conservation, as well as agricultural research that is capable of yielding practical benefits to farmers during its progress or soon after its completion. Grants are given in support of people rather than 'bricks and mortar' projects.
