Chadacre Agricultural Trust Student Grants

The Chadacre Agricultural Trust provides competitive grants to individuals enabling them to research or study the theory or practice of agriculture and farming, and related subjects. Grants are awarded for relevant certificate, diploma, degree, and higher degree courses. In keeping with the ethos of the original Chadacre Institute, priority is given to those studying practical training courses which prepare them for employment on farms. In particular, grants are awarded for continuing professional development, relevant skills training and apprenticeships leading to qualifications such as BASIS, FACTS and for practical skills intrinsic to farm operation, including tele-handling and chainsaw use. Grants are given only to individuals who are not eligible for state funding.
