Chair in Transgender Studies Doctoral Degree Research Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to current or entering academically outstanding doctoral degree students who are pursuing trans-related research in any field, including creative or performative activity. Priority will be given to students who self-identify as Trans, Nonbinary, or Two-Spirit. Further preference will be given to students who have not previously received an award from the Chair in Transgender Studies, and who demonstrate financial need. The scholarship provides $5,000 to support doctoral research in transgender studies across any academic discipline. Students must complete an application form and submit it to the Faculty of Graduate Studies by May 31.
