About This Opportunity
The Chamberlain Award provides additional financial support for UK students who started their first undergraduate degree at the University of Birmingham between 2020 and 2024. At Birmingham, financial worries should not be a barrier to accessing higher education. The award supports students who meet specific household income criteria and other eligibility requirements. The standard award is £2,000 per year of study, paid in two equal instalments in late January and early May, subject to continued eligibility and normal academic progression. Care Leavers are eligible to receive an Enhanced Chamberlain Award as an alternative to the standard award. Awards are subject to annual reassessment and all awards will be finalised on 31 December for the year of academic study.
