Chan Pang Kuen Memorial International Distinction Scholarship - Renewable

The Chan Pang Kuen Memorial International Distinction Scholarship is awarded to international students on a Study Permit with superior academic achievement entering the first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership, community engagement, volunteerism and/or involvement in extracurricular activities. Preference is given to students who attended high school in China or Hong Kong and have Chinese or Hong Kong citizenship. The scholarship is renewable for the second, third, and fourth years contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a minimum 18 credits over the most recent September to April period at the University of Alberta, while studying on a Study Permit. Students may not receive any other University of Alberta international entrance awards or scholarships.
