Chancellor's Award

The Chancellor's Award is a prestigious entrance scholarship awarded to two students entering full-time study in the Faculty of Arts and Science or the Faculty of Education and Professional Studies at Nipissing University. Applicants must have a minimum 85% average and demonstrate evidence of personal leadership activities such as excellence in fine arts, writing, debating, excellence in science extracurricular activities beyond local school class requirements, or significant citizenship contributions to community or family. Recipients must also demonstrate financial need and be residents of Ontario as defined by OSAP. Each recipient receives $10,000 during their first year, and the scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years at $3,000 per year based on the maintenance of a minimum 85% average on their best 24 credits.
