About This Opportunity

The Chancellor's Award is an undergraduate scholarship offered by the University of Sydney to recognize and support school-leavers with outstanding academic performance. This prestigious scholarship is awarded automatically to students who achieve an ATAR of 99.90 or equivalent in the NSW Higher School Certificate Examination. The scholarship provides $10,000 per annum for the full duration of an undergraduate degree, including combined undergraduate degrees. Recipients are automatically identified following the release of ATAR results, with no application required. In addition to the financial support, scholarship recipients receive priority access to student accommodations at the University of Sydney. The scholarship can be deferred for up to two years and is transferable to another undergraduate degree at the university. Recipients are expected to maintain an excellent academic record with a Distinction Level Semester Average Mark of 75 throughout their studies. The scholarship is paid in two equal installments after the census date of each semester and continues for the normal full-time duration of the recipient's undergraduate program.
