Chancellor's International Scholarships

The Chancellor's International Scholarships are highly competitive scholarships available to exceptional undergraduate international applicants at the University of Sussex. A limited number of scholarships are awarded to students with outstanding academic achievement and potential. The scholarship provides a £5,000 tuition fee reduction in the first year of full-time study. These awards are designed to support self-financing international students who are classified as 'Overseas' for fee purposes and have received an offer to study a full-time Bachelor's degree at Sussex starting in 2026. Applicants must demonstrate excellent academic grades, with specific minimum requirements depending on their qualification type (e.g., A-Levels at A*A*A, International Baccalaureate at 36 points, or equivalent standards for various national qualifications). All applications are reviewed after the closing date, and successful applicants can expect a decision by the end of July. The scholarship is awarded for the 2026/27 academic year only and cannot be deferred.
