Chancellor's Masters Scholarship

University of Sussex Original Source

About This Opportunity

Chancellor's Masters Scholarships are available for First Class graduates from institutions in the UK or Ireland, including those from the University of Sussex. There are limited scholarships available, so there is a competitive application process. The scholarship provides a tuition fee reduction of £3,000 for applicants assessed as 'Home' for fees or £5,000 for applicants assessed as 'Overseas' for fees. To be eligible, applicants must have studied a Bachelors (Hons) at a UK or Irish university and hold, or expect to achieve, a First Class Honours degree. They must have accepted an offer of a place on an eligible full-time or part-time Masters course to start in September 2026. Priority is given to those who have not already completed a postgraduate qualification. There are 40 scholarships available. Applicants are required to provide a statement of academic interests including information about their previous academic achievement and excellence, academic and career aspirations after completing their Masters, and any work or extra-curricular activity undertaken that relates to their Masters.
