About this opportunity
The Chancellor's Scholarship for a Professional Program is offered annually on a rotating basis to an undergraduate student entering one of three professional programs at the University of Calgary: the Faculty of Law (JD Program), the Cumming School of Medicine (MD Program), or the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (DVM Program). This prestigious award recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional academic merit combined with significant contributions to campus and/or community life, showing leadership qualities and strong academic promise. The scholarship is made possible through the generous support of the University of Calgary's Chancellor's Club and the University of Calgary itself. Recipients must be Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents and must be entering their first year of one of the designated professional programs. The award provides substantial financial support valued at $15,000 to help offset the costs of professional education.
