Charles A. Elliott Technology Education Award

The Charles A. Elliott Technology Education Award is a scholarship offered by Eastern Illinois University for students pursuing careers in technical education. The award is designed for juniors, seniors, and graduate students majoring in Career and Technical Education with an emphasis in Technology Education who plan to teach. If no qualified Technology Education applicant is available, the scholarship may be awarded to students in other technology-related majors offered by the School of Technology who intend to pursue careers in technical education at high schools, vocational centers, community colleges, or universities. Recipients must be in good academic standing and may reapply in subsequent years if they continue to meet the criteria. Financial need is only considered as a tiebreaker when all other factors are equal. The award is announced in the Spring and disbursed in the Fall semester.
