About this opportunity
The Charles and Louise Malmberg Scholarship in Agriculture is awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement entering the fourth year of BSc. in Agriculture, BSc. in Animal Health or BSc. in Environmental and Conservation Sciences program at the University of Alberta. The recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing and a demonstrated interest in Land Resource Science and/or Land Reclamation. The recipient must have taken two or more courses in Soil Science, one of these courses being in soil conservation. Preference will be given to students from the dryland farming areas of Southeastern Alberta. This scholarship is made possible through endowed funds by Laura D Harrison, in honor of her parents, Charles and Louise Malmberg.
