Charles & Barbara Clark Elementary Education Scholarship

The Charles & Barbara Clark Elementary Education Scholarship supports full-time students majoring in Early Childhood, Elementary, or Middle Level Education at Eastern Illinois University. Financial need is a consideration in the selection process, with the donor's goal to provide full scholarships when funds permit. Academic GPA is not a factor in determining eligibility. The scholarship shows preference to students from Decatur high schools, followed by students from Macon County, and then opens to students from other schools. This award is issued and paid in the Spring semester. Recipients may be eligible to apply for and receive the award again in subsequent years provided they continue to meet the eligibility criteria.
