Charles Gale Memorial Scholarship in Drama

The Charles Gale Memorial Scholarship in Drama is awarded annually on an alternating basis between the Department of Music and the Department of Drama at the University of Alberta. In odd years, the scholarship is awarded to a convocating student in the Department of Music, and in even years, to a convocating student in the Department of Drama. The award is based on superior academic achievement. For recipients from the Department of Drama, preference is given to students in Classical Theatre. This endowed scholarship was established by the friends and colleagues of the late Charles Gale to honor his memory and support outstanding students in the performing arts.
