About this opportunity
This scholarship supports students from other Australian law schools travelling to Sydney to attend the honours workshop. Established in 2022, the scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate, Juris Doctor, and Masters by coursework students studying at law schools around Australia and New Zealand who are willing to showcase their research at the honours workshop held in Sydney. The scholarship has been funded by a bequest of $50,000 made in 1973 by Mrs Linda Currey of Strathfield, N.S.W., to establish a travelling scholarship in the Faculties of Arts and Law in memory of her husband, Charles Herbert Currey, MA LLD. The award is based on demonstrated financial need and preference is given to students who demonstrate financial disadvantage.
