Charles Mark Scholarship for the Study of Foreign Language (Spring)

The Charles Mark Scholarship supports undergraduate and graduate students studying languages through the Five Colleges Center for World Languages. The scholarship encourages students to study any language offered by the Five College Center for World Languages in the country where it is spoken, providing financial assistance for language immersion experiences abroad. The award may also be used by students wishing to teach English and are interested in improving their proficiency. Recipients are required to submit a final report after the study abroad is completed, which will be used by UMass Foundations for stewardship purposes. Communication regarding report submission will be sent via email to award recipients.
