About this opportunity
This scholarship supports students undertaking research within the Charles Perkins Centre at Westmead. The scholarship is funded by a gift from Dr Jennifer Mun-Yum Foong and Mr Kim Yee, and provides supplementary stipend support to PhD students who already hold a primary scholarship from the University of Sydney. Recipients must carry out their primary research project at the Charles Perkins Centre Westmead precinct and have a reporting supervisor who is an Academic Director of Charles Perkins Centre Westmead. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, curriculum vitae, demonstrated research experience in cardio metabolic or affiliated projects, and a personal statement elaborating the research to be undertaken at the Centre. This is a supplementary scholarship designed to provide additional financial support to PhD students already receiving primary scholarship funding.
