About This Opportunity

One scholarship, valued at up to $2,000, is awarded annually to an outstanding student entering first year of a program in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. This entrance scholarship recognizes academic excellence and is made possible by a donation from the estate of Esther Jamieson. Selection is based on academic performance, the Admission Information Form (AIF), and contest results as administered through the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC). No separate application is required, as students are automatically considered upon admission to eligible mathematics programs.
