Chartered Institution of Wastes Management Prize

The Chartered Institution of Wastes Management Prize was established in 2001 by the Institution of Wastes Management. This prize recognizes outstanding academic achievement in the field of sustainable waste management among undergraduate engineering students at Queen's University Belfast. The prize, currently valued at £100, is awarded annually to the student on any undergraduate Civil or Structural Engineering degree programme who achieves the highest marks in a project dissertation on a topic relevant to sustainable waste management. This award encourages students to engage with critical environmental challenges and promotes excellence in waste management research and practice.
