Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management Prize

Queen's University Belfast Original Source

About This Opportunity

A prize established in 2000, awarded annually to Stage 4 students on the MEng in Environmental and Civil Engineering course at Queen's University Belfast. The prize of £100 recognizes outstanding academic performance across multiple stages of study. The award is given to the Stage 4 student who demonstrates the best performance in Stages 2, 3 and 4 of the MEng in Environmental and Civil Engineering course. If the top performer in this specific MEng course is also the top student of all MEng courses within the School of Natural and Built Environment, then the prize is awarded to the student with the second best performance in the Environmental and Civil Engineering course. This ensures recognition of excellence specifically within the Environmental and Civil Engineering program. The prize is sponsored by the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM), a professional body dedicated to advancing the science and practice of water and environmental management.
