Chelsy Shillington Memorial Leadership Entrance Award

The Chelsy Shillington Memorial Leadership Entrance Award is granted to students entering the first year of the BSc Environmental and Conservation Science degree program at the University of Alberta. This entrance scholarship recognizes students with satisfactory academic standing who have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities through their involvement in extracurricular and community activities. Special preference is given to applicants who have completed or plan to engage in international volunteer or work experiences. The award was established through endowed funds by family and friends in memory of Chelsy Shillington, whose passion for environmental causes and enthusiasm for life inspired many.
