Chemical Engineering Postgraduate Taught Entrance Scholarships

The School of Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham offers entrance scholarships to recognize and reward top incoming postgraduate taught students. The scholarship consists of a £1,000 cash payment during semester one in the first year of study. The program celebrates academic achievements of students before they arrive at the University. There are 10 awards available in total: 5 allocated to Home students and 5 allocated to International students. To be eligible, applicants must receive an offer for one of five specified master's programs for 2025 entry, hold a first class or equivalent undergraduate degree, and submit their application by 31 July 2025. Eligible programs include Advanced Chemical Engineering, Food Safety, Hygiene and Management, Global Energy Technologies and Systems, Industrial Project Management, and Sustainable Energy Engineering. Applicants will be ranked on their degree classification and strength of application.
