Chicago Forum Grants

The Chicago Forum Grants program supports research and scholarly work related to free inquiry and expression at the University of Chicago. The grants are awarded to both faculty and graduate students to conduct research on topics including freedom of speech, academic freedom, censorship, political expression, and related areas. Past grants have funded diverse projects examining free expression from legal, philosophical, sociological, historical, and scientific perspectives.
