Chief Judge Nelles V Buchanan Memorial Prize in Litigation

The Chief Judge Nelles V Buchanan Memorial Prize in Litigation is awarded annually to a student entering the third year who has demonstrated outstanding ability in Criminal Law (LAW 420) and Evidence (LAW 453), and who has been successful in one of the competitive moots sponsored by the Faculty of Law. This prize is funded through an endowment by the Balfour and Buchanan Families. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
