About this opportunity

The Chief Justice Fraser Scholarship is awarded to a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or protected person within the meaning of subsection 95 (2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada) who is an Alberta resident with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the third year of a Juris Doctor degree at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing in coursework focused on the field of constitutionalism (including federalism and guaranteed rights, the delivery of fair and equal justice, the rule of law, or the protection of human rights), LSAT score, and demonstrated involvement in volunteer activity. Students may only receive this scholarship once. Recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application.
