Chilean Bicentennial Fund Scholarships

The Chilean Bicentennial Fund Scholarships are available to Chilean students who wish to undertake postgraduate research degrees in Australia at Swinburne University of Technology. The scholarship provides financial support for Chilean nationals pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Masters by Research programs. Recipients must commit to returning to Chile within 24 months of course completion and residing in Chile for the same duration as the scholarship period. If recipients return to live outside of Santiago, this period is reduced to half of the scholarship period. Failure to meet this condition requires repayment of the scholarship. The program is administered in partnership with CONICYT (Comisión Nacional de Investigación Científica y Tecnológica) and Becas Chile, supporting Chile's commitment to developing its research capacity through international education.
