China Bursary Scholarship

Teesside University offers a range of scholarships to support eligible students coming to study at the University from China. The China Bursary Scholarship provides £1,000 in the first full academic year of study for successful applicants on foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate programmes. The scholarship is allocated as a fee waiver and is awarded automatically to eligible students who meet specific criteria. Awards are made at the discretion of the International Scholarships Committee, who may consider financial background, prior academic performance, and other information provided through the application and at any subsequent interview. Applicants on foundation/pathway programmes delivered at Teesside University International Study Centre are not eligible for the scholarship, but will be considered on progression to a full degree programme at Teesside University.
